Navigator Insurance Consultants NV was formally established in July 2020, but its origins date back to the 1990’s, when RKH Specialty Caribbean company was founded and was doing business in the Caribbean with several well-known Curacao and Sint-Maarten based companies.

NIC is a Caribbean insurance broker specialized in complex insurance solutions and in developing private lines insurance facilities. It has built a solid and extensive Caribbean and international network with her main partner brokers AON, Howden and Meijers. NIC services her clients from offices in Curacao, Aruba, Bonaire and Sint Maarten. 

In 2022, NIC also acquired the shares from AON Holdings Antillen N.V. and by acquiring the AON portfolio, NIC became a full-fledged Insurance broker servicing private and commercial clients within the Dutch-speaking Caribbean, as a partner in the AON global network. 

The company services a range of large clients with their specific risks, but also offers private insurances and international medical health solutions. Its diverse team of insurance consultants, claims advocates and risk management experts is able to deliver both traditional and non-traditional insurance solutions, often facilitated through NIC’s international partners.
